what does it mean to be a hero? to villains, it may mean that a hero is just another stupid obstacle to their goal. to children, it may mean that a hero is a role model, someone to look up to so they can be just like them. or more. a hero can be many things, hell, it can even mean to be a coward sometimes. to tony stark, it meant everything. before, he was just a simple follower. a follower to his father’s ideas and creativity.
now, after getting a whole new perspective of the world around him, he is his own person. the leader of his own life. it wasn’t the perfect life, but it was his. he controlled it. now, all he has to do is make sure he doesn’t mess up. he was an obstacle for villains, sure, but he had to be in order to make all those kids that look up to him proud. to make everyone proud; but most importantly, to make himself proud. he was more that a man that will spit out a few funny jokes. he is tony stark, a friend, a lover, a mentor, and a hero.

my tony stark portrayal is mainly MCU based, because it is what i feel like i know best. however, there are some comics traits that i will apply to my son. so basically, it's about a 70/30 share of both mcu and comic. then again, there will be some additions of my own. those of which will be specific in my SMBQ+. for instance, my tony stark has cirrhosis, something that neither comics or movie mention or focus on.
